Dental implant surgery, due to the rich jaw nerve and blood vessels and individual differences among different patients, it is so hard for dentists to control the position and angles during their drilling in the jaw.
And peripheral tissue can be unnecessary damaged. For this reason, we developed the dental implant guide system. This system consists of a positioning porcelain ring (φ 2.5mm) and a thermoplastic film.
The positioning porcelain ring can be used as a panoramic X-ray or Cone-beam CT marker to determine whether the position and angle of the drill is suitable.
The thermoplastic film can be softened after hot water immersion to cover and make retention on the adjacent teeth.
A better operation position can be positioned by the system. Given the location and quantity of implant, the system can be divided into three types: type I is for single tooth, type Ⅱ and type Ⅲ are for more than one tooth.
