- ETCHING GEL is an acid etchant for enamel and dentin. Its phosphoric acid content is 37%. Etching gel increases the surface area of the tooth by making it rougher thus resulting in better adhesion for the bonding agent. For ease of dispensing the syringe tip is bendable so that any angle required can be obtained.
